MRCE modifications
Ok guys, this will be my first test post on mods for the MRCE helmet. Hopefully it will give everyone a better picture on how to do subtle, or heavy mods to your buckets.
As per FISD requirements, mods to be done on a MRCE are:
MUST:
-fill in the chin seam with white caulk/silicone,white putty etc.
-replace the dark blue tube stripes with the correct blue shade(tamiya x-3 royal blue)
-fix the teeth(some MRCE buckets have flash that need to be removed) with some filing tools
-adding a fourth hole on each side of the teeth,8 total
-adding 6 "4-40 flathead machine screws" on the ears(3 per side) for stunt and 4 for hero. they should be painted white.
NOT REQUIRED
-the thinning of the ears are not a requirement but a welcome modification.
-raising of the brow for a more stunt look, the low brow on the MRCE was fashioned from the Hero bucket.
-replacing the lens with a more thicker material to avoid seeing the eyes when using flash photography.

These may be masked and painted on as well.
The tube stripes that come with the MRCE can be removed using Automotive rubbing compound.
