Clone Wars events schedule

In case you haven't noticed, local Star Wars fans have had a lot to fuss over. New movie, new toys, new TV series. So naturally, there are new events all over the place!

The Philippine Outpost of the 501st Legion and the Pag-Asa Wing of the Rebel Legion will be making appearances all over Metro Manila! You can have photos taken with the troopers, the Jedi, Darth Vader, and the golden droid, C-3PO! Kids can play with the Clone Wars Lego, or with a multitude of Star Wars games on the Toshiba gaming stations. There's also the Plug & Play games on a Millennium Falcon joystick!

And finally, if you feel that your midichlorian count is high enough, kids can join the Jedi Academy. Learn the ways of the Force with Master Oneal-Wan Kenobi and his lovely assistant, Adrian Skywalker! You don't even have to bring your own lightsaber for Jedi Academy: you can use our training lightsabers!

Mall appearances as follows:

• 30-31 August - SM MegaMall
• 6-7 September - SM South Mall
• POSTPONED - SM North
• 27-28 September - SM Marikina

Event schedules are usually as follows:

• 1:00: photo ops with troopers and Jedi
• 2:00: Jedi Academy
• 2:30: photo ops with troopers and Jedi
• 3:00: Jedi Academy
• 4:30: costume parade

There will also be trivia games all day! Again, this schedule is subject to change. :)

Also, some troopers will be making a visit to the McDonald's store in SM Mall of Asia on Wednesday, 27 August, since the new Clone Wars Happy Meal toys will be released!

Costumes welcome but not necessary. Everything is free and open to the public. Padawans, troopers, droids, Jedi, see you there!
